How to Deselect Data from transferring

Learn how to deselect files and/or folders from within the transfer to your new PC.

PCmover allows you to deselect and exclude specific folders and files from the transfer.

If, for instance, you do not want to transfer specific folders containing Documents, you can deselect those folders on the Documents screen, and they will not transfer to the new PC.

If you need to deselect folders/files for a smaller migration, try looking for any folders that are not necessary to you and deselect them. For example, you may have backup folders that are also located in the cloud. Deselect these as necessary to trim down your migration.

All folders that remain selected on each screen will transfer to the new PC. Click Done on each screen when you have finished deselecting folders.
